Overview Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed year-round wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Within its 3230 sq. km, it hosts buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and more, and chances are high that you’ll see a respectable sampling of these within a short time of entering the park.
Early in after breakfast, exit your lodge and head to the park in search of wildlife in a thrilling game drive. Be on the look for wildebeests, elephant giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and many more. Have a launch break and later visit other park locations such as the Mkata, Chamgore (place of pythons), and Mkata flood plains. Full Game drive until Sunset then we drive back to your Camp for Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast will depart to Morogoro for catch SGR to Dar es salaam Arrival in the afternoon and Catch a boat to Zanzibar early transfer back to the hotel in Dar es Salaam or catching the ferry for Zanzibar. Breakfast and lunch are included. Meals (HB)
